I attended the Yellow House (SFA Christian student center) tonight for Question of the Week. We had a fellowship dinner at 7:30 and then had our discussion. This week’s question was: “What’s up with this anti-Christ thing?” It was discussed that the Anti-Christ is not so much one person as it is people who are strictly against Christ and believe that he did not really die on the cross and was resurrected. One group mentioned was the Gnostics. The Bible verses we looked at included 1 John 2:18, 2 Thessalonians 2:4, Revelations 13 (where it talks about the different beasts), 1 John 4:1, and 1 John 4:12-16. I have been a part of the Yellow House for about 8 or 9 years now. Information about the Yellow House may be found on North Street Church of Christ’s website which is http://www.northstreetcoc.org/. They are located on East College Street between the Wesley foundation and the Catholic student center. They have Monday Morning Manna every Monday morning at 7 A.M., visit Godtel (homeless shelter) every Monday night at 7 P.M., have Wednesday night Bible Study at 7 P.M., have dinner and devotional Thursday nights at 6:30, and have Sunday night Question of the Week at 7:30 P.M. on Sunday nights. They also have many retreats and other activities planned throughout the semester. They also have a group on facebook.
