I visited the ABS tonight. I have been attending the ABS on and off now for about three years. We had a fellowship meal at 5:30 and then we had the Bible Study. The first thing we did was checked in. When we check in we share what is the “biggest thing on our plate” or what may be troubling us the most. Everyone is free to share what they would like in full confidence that it will stay within the group. While checking in we also share where we are in our personal Bible study. After checking in we sang “How Great Is Our God”, “God of Wonders”, and “Give Us Clean Hands”. The Bible Study was part two of a video Bible series on Knowing Fear. This week was on Fear of The Future and on trusting God. The Bible verses used included Psalm 27:1, Matthew 6:34, Exodus 14:11, and Psalm 33:8-9. The ABS has a group on facebook for anyone interested. They have fellowship meals every Monday night at 5:30 with Bible study afterwards. They are located on East College Street between the bike shop and the Wesley foundation.
